Ingredients
  • 2 teaspoon Spirulina Powder
  • 1 cup Almond Flour
  • 3 tablespoon Cocoa Powder
  • 3 tablespoon Maple Syrup
  • 2 tablespoon Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Peppermint Extract
  • 1/2 cup Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 2 tablespoon Crushed Candy Canes
Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the spirulina powder, almond flour, cocoa powder, maple syrup, coconut oil, and peppermint extract.
  2. Mix well until a dough-like consistency is formed.
  3. Roll the dough into small bite-sized balls.
  4. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted.
  6. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the spirulina bites.
  7. Sprinkle crushed candy canes on top.
  8. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and let the bites set for at least 1 hour.
  9. Once set, remove from the refrigerator and serve.
