Ingredients
  • 500 gram Tomatoes
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili flakes
  • 4 cup Vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 10 gram Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoon Cream (optional)
Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add red chili flakes and stir for a minute.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they start to break down.
  4. Pour in vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Use an immersion blender or transfer the soup to a blender to puree until smooth.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves. Optional: Add a dollop of cream for extra richness.
