  1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, cook the red lentils in water until tender. Drain any excess water.
  3. In a food processor, blend together the cooked red lentils, onion, garlic cloves, bread crumbs, fresh basil, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  4. Shape the lentil mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake the lentil balls for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. In a separate saucepan, heat the olive oil and add the tomato sauce. Cook for a few minutes until heated through.
  7. Serve the lentil balls on top of the cooked spaghetti and drizzle with the tomato sauce.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and enjoy!
