Ingredients
  • 8 ounce Macaroni
  • 1 cup Textured Vegetable Protein (TVP)
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce
  • 1 cup Vegetable Broth
  • 2 tablespoon Nutritional Yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh Parsley
Instructions
  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until onion becomes translucent.
  3. Add TVP and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce, vegetable broth, nutritional yeast, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Add cooked macaroni to the skillet and mix well. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
