Soda bread is a traditional Irish bread that gets its name from the use of baking soda as the leavening agent instead of yeast.
This is vegan recipe. Dish can be prepared in 65 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 10.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, rolled oats, baking soda, salt, and mixed seeds.

In a separate bowl, mix together the non-dairy milk, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, and olive oil.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until a sticky dough forms.

Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for a minute.

Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it on the prepared baking sheet.

Score a deep cross on top of the loaf using a sharp knife.

Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.

Remove from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack for at least 10 minutes before slicing.

Serve warm or at room temperature.
