Ingredients
  • 2 teaspoon Sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Anise seeds
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup Water
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the sesame seeds and anise seeds.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and the sesame-anise seed mixture.
  4. Add the vegetable oil and water to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
  5. Shape the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Flatten each ball with the back of a fork.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
  9. Serve the sesame anise melts as a delicious vegan appetizer or snack.
