  2. Add shallots and garlic cloves. Sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add red chili peppers and tomatoes. Cook until softened.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until smooth.
  6. Return the blended mixture to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Add lime juice, sugar, and salt. Stir well.
  8. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  9. Serve the sambal sauce as a condiment or use it in your favorite recipes.
