Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Trim the ends of the green beans and place them on a baking sheet.

Drizzle olive oil over the green beans and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.

Toss the green beans to coat them evenly with the oil and seasonings.

Spread the green beans in a single layer on the baking sheet.

Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the beans are tender and slightly browned.

While the green beans are roasting, toast the almonds in a dry skillet over medium heat until golden and fragrant.

Remove the green beans from the oven and sprinkle the toasted almonds over the top.
