Rinse the large white limas under cold water and drain.

In the pressure cooker, heat olive oil over medium heat.

Add chopped onion and minced garlic cloves. Sauté until translucent.

Add dried thyme, bay leaf, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.

Add rinsed large white limas and vegetable broth. Stir to combine.

Close the pressure cooker lid and cook on high pressure for 25 minutes.

Allow the pressure to release naturally for 5 minutes, then release the remaining pressure manually.

Open the lid and remove the bay leaf.

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
