  4. Bring the soup to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the lentils are tender.
  5. Use an immersion blender to puree the soup until smooth.
  6. Stir in the lemon juice and fresh cilantro.
  7. Let the soup rest for 10 minutes before serving.
