  1. Peel and grate the potatoes. Squeeze out excess moisture.
  2. Finely chop the onion.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes, chopped onion, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Take a spoonful of the potato mixture and flatten it in your hand. Carefully place it in the hot oil.
  6. Fry the fritters for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  7. Remove the fritters from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
