Ingredients
  • 500 gram Potatoes
  • 2 piece Onion
  • 2 piece Tomatoes
  • 4 clove Garlic
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh Coriander Leaves
Instructions
  1. Peel and chop the potatoes into cubes. Slice the onions, tomatoes, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add sliced onions and cook until golden brown.
  3. Add garlic and ginger and cook for another minute.
  4. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.
  6. Add the chopped potatoes and mix well with the spices.
  7. Add water and cover the pan. Let it simmer for about 20 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked.
  8. Sprinkle garam masala and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  9. Serve hot with rice or roti.
