Ingredients
  • 500 gram Bell peppers
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 2 piece Garlic cloves
  • 2 piece Tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 10 gram Basil leaves
Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced onion and garlic cloves. Sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the sliced bell peppers and cook for 10 minutes until they start to soften.
  4. Add the tomatoes, red wine vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
  5. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and simmer for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  7. Serve hot or cold, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
