Ingredients
  • 2 cup Moong sprouts
  • 1 cup Semolina (Rava)
  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon Green chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Eno fruit salt
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 6 few Curry leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves
Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine moong sprouts, semolina, yogurt, ginger paste, green chili paste, lemon juice, turmeric powder, and salt.
  2. Mix well to make a smooth batter.
  3. Add water if needed to adjust the consistency.
  4. Grease a dhokla plate or a steamer tray with oil.
  5. Add eno fruit salt to the batter and mix gently.
  6. Pour the batter into the greased plate or tray.
  7. Steam for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Remove from the steamer and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  9. In a small pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds.
  10. Once the mustard seeds splutter, add curry leaves and sauté for a few seconds.
  11. Pour this tempering over the steamed dhokla.
  12. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  13. Cut into squares or diamond shapes.
  14. Serve hot with green chutney or tamarind chutney.
