  • 1 medium-sized Onion
  • 3 clove Garlic
  • 2 pound Heirloom Tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato Paste
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • for garnish Fresh Basil Leaves
Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until golden brown.
  3. Stir in the heirloom tomatoes, tomato paste, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and sugar.
  4. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove from heat and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  6. Serve the sauce over cooked spaghetti or your favorite pasta.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
