Ingredients
  • 2 cup Pinto beans
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 can Tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Liquid smoke
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 cup Water
Instructions
  1. Soak the pinto beans overnight in water.
  2. Drain the soaked beans and rinse them.
  3. In a large pot, add the soaked beans, onion, garlic, tomato sauce, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, salt, black pepper, and water.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 1 hour or until the beans are tender.
  5. Remove from heat and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
