Marinated Baked Tofu
Tofu, also known as bean curd, is made from soy milk and is a popular ingredient in Asian cuisine. It is a great source of plant-based protein.
This is vegan, gluten free and high protein recipe. Dish can be prepared in 50 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 12.

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Press the tofu to remove excess water, then cut it into cubes or slices.

In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, maple syrup, and cornstarch.

Add the tofu to the marinade and let it sit for at least 10 minutes.

Place the marinated tofu on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the tofu is golden and crispy.

Garnish with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, salt, and black pepper.
