Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half.

In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, maple syrup, salt, and black pepper until well coated.

Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are tender and caramelized, stirring once halfway through.

While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, toast the hazelnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat until fragrant and golden brown.
