Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter, cold
  • 2 tablespoon Lime zest
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and powdered sugar.
  3. Cut the cold unsalted butter into small cubes and add it to the flour mixture.
  4. Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to cut the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Add the lime zest, fresh lime juice, vanilla extract, and salt to the mixture.
  6. Mix everything together until a dough forms.
  7. Shape the dough into a disk, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  8. Once chilled, take the dough out of the refrigerator and divide it into 12 equal portions.
  9. Roll each portion into a small ball and then shape it into a crescent shape.
  10. Place the crescents onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  11. Allow the crescents to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  12. Once cooled, dust the crescents with powdered sugar.
  13. Serve and enjoy!
