Peel and cut the onions into wedges.

Peel and cut the carrots into sticks.

In a large bowl, toss the onions and carrots with olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.

Spread the vegetables on a baking sheet and roast for 30 minutes, or until tender and slightly caramelized.
