  2. In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add chana dal, urad dal, cashew nuts, and peanuts.
  3. Saute until they turn golden brown. Then add curry leaves, green chilies, ginger, and asafoetida.
  4. Add turmeric powder and mix well.
  5. Add the cooked rice and salt. Mix gently to combine all the ingredients.
  6. Squeeze lemon juice over the rice and mix well.
  7. Cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  8. Serve hot with raita or pickle.
