Ingredients
  • 1 cup Rice
  • 1 cup Lentils
  • 1 cup Macaroni
  • 1 cup Chickpeas
  • 2 large Onions
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 2 tablespoon Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 4 cup Water
Instructions
  1. Cook the rice, lentils, and macaroni separately according to package instructions.
  2. In a pan, heat vegetable oil and fry the onions until golden brown.
  3. Remove half of the fried onions and set aside for garnishing.
  4. Add garlic, cumin, salt, black pepper, and tomato sauce to the remaining fried onions in the pan. Cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add cooked lentils and chickpeas to the tomato sauce mixture. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. In a serving dish, layer the cooked rice, macaroni, and lentil mixture.
  7. Drizzle vinegar over the dish.
  8. Garnish with the reserved fried onions.
  9. Serve hot.
