Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion, minced garlic, diced carrots, and sliced celery stalks. Cook for 5 minutes.

Add canned tomatoes, vegetable broth, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

Add cannellini beans and cook for another 5 minutes.
