Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking soda, and salt.

Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the buttermilk and honey.

Stir the mixture until it forms a soft dough.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it gently for about 1 minute.

Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it on the prepared baking sheet.

Use a sharp knife to score a deep cross on top of the loaf.

Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
