  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the buttermilk and honey.
  4. Stir the mixture until it forms a soft dough.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it gently for about 1 minute.
  6. Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Use a sharp knife to score a deep cross on top of the loaf.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
