  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a large saucepan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the cumin seeds, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, and cloves. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the chopped onion and cook until golden brown.
  5. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and green chili and cook for another minute.
  6. Add the turmeric powder and salt. Mix well.
  7. Add the rinsed rice and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  8. Pour in the water and bring to a boil.
  9. Reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan, and simmer for 10-12 minutes until the rice is cooked and the water is absorbed.
  10. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  11. Fluff the rice with a fork and stir in the frozen peas, cashew nuts, fresh coriander leaves, and lemon juice.
  12. Serve hot and enjoy!
