  3. Stir in the tomato paste, vegetable broth, mixed beans, paprika, caraway seeds, bay leaves, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove the bay leaves. Serve the goulash hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
