  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, toss the raw peanuts with vegetable oil and salt.
  3. Spread the peanuts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Roast the peanuts in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
  5. Remove the peanuts from the oven and let them cool for 10 minutes.
  6. Transfer the roasted peanuts to a food processor and blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
  7. If desired, add honey to the peanut butter for added sweetness.
  8. Blend again until well combined.
  9. Transfer the homemade peanut butter to a jar and store in the refrigerator.
  10. Enjoy on toast, in sandwiches, or as a dip!
