Peel and slice the carrots.

In a saucepan, bring water to a boil and add the carrots. Cook for 5 minutes.

Drain the carrots and return them to the saucepan.

Add honey, butter, salt, and black pepper to the saucepan.

Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the carrots are glazed and tender, about 10-15 minutes.

Remove from heat and let the carrots rest for 5 minutes.
