In a food processor, finely chop the onion, carrot, bell pepper, and garlic.

In a large skillet, sauté the chopped vegetables until they are tender.

Add the tomato sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, chili powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir well.

Add the lentils to the skillet and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the lentils are cooked and the mixture has thickened.
