  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, blend the rolled oats until they form a fine flour-like consistency.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the oat flour, almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Add the maple syrup, almond butter, and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  6. Fold in the dark chocolate chips and chopped nuts, if desired.
  7. Transfer the batter to the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the dish for 10 minutes.
  10. Lift the brownies out of the dish using the parchment paper and let them cool completely on a wire rack.
