Ingredients

  • 4 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper
  • to garnish Fresh Herbs (such as rosemary or thyme)
Instructions
  1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add salt.
  2. Gradually whisk in the polenta, stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
  3. Reduce heat to low and cook the polenta for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  6. Brush the polenta with olive oil on both sides and season with black pepper.
  7. Place the polenta slices on the grill and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until grill marks appear.
  8. Remove from the grill and garnish with fresh herbs.
