Cook the green lentils according to package instructions.

In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté the chopped onion, minced garlic, and fresh parsley until softened.

In a large bowl, combine the cooked lentils, sautéed onion mixture, ground cumin, chili powder, bread crumbs, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Form the mixture into burger patties and refrigerate for 15 minutes.

Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the lentil burgers until golden brown on both sides.

Toast the burger buns and assemble the burgers with lettuce leaves, sliced tomato, red onion, pickles, ketchup, and mustard.
