Granola was originally invented as a health food in the late 19th century by Dr. James Caleb Jackson, who called it ‘granula’.

This is vegan and gluten free recipe. Dish can be prepared in 30 minutes. Even a beginner can handle preparing this dish. Number of ingredients: 10.

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, almonds, cashews, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds.
  3. In a small saucepan, heat the honey, coconut oil, vanilla extract, and cinnamon over low heat until melted and well combined.
  4. Pour the honey mixture over the oat mixture and stir until all the ingredients are evenly coated.
  5. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
  8. Once cooled, stir in the dried cranberries.
  9. Store in an airtight container.
