Rinse the quinoa under cold water.

In a large saucepan, heat vegetable broth over medium heat.

Add onion and garlic to the saucepan and sauté until translucent.

Add curry powder and turmeric powder to the saucepan and cook for 1 minute.

Add quinoa to the saucepan and stir to coat it with the spices.

Pour in the coconut milk and bring to a simmer.

Reduce heat to low, cover, and let it cook for 20 minutes or until the quinoa is tender.

Stir in frozen peas, fresh cilantro, lime juice, salt, and black pepper.

Cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
