Insert popsicle sticks into the cut end of each banana half.

Place the banana pops on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.

Dip each banana pop into the melted chocolate, allowing the excess to drip off.

Sprinkle chopped nuts or sprinkles over the chocolate coating.

Place the banana pops back on the baking sheet and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
