Cook the white rice according to package instructions.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.

Add chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until vegetables are softened.

Add cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir well.

Rinse and drain the black beans. Add them to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes.

Add cooked rice to the skillet and mix well with the beans and vegetables.

Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Serve the Florida Beans and Rice garnished with fresh cilantro and a lime wedge.
