  5. Rinse and drain the black beans. Add them to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Add cooked rice to the skillet and mix well with the beans and vegetables.
  7. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
