The Fillet O’tofu is a vegetarian version of the popular fast food sandwich, the Filet-O-Fish.

This is vegan, gluten free, high protein and low carb recipe. Dish can be prepared in 40 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 10.

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess water.
  2. Cut the tofu into fillets.
  3. In a bowl, mix cornstarch, soy sauce, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Coat the tofu fillets with the mixture.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a pan.
  6. Fry the tofu fillets until golden brown.
  7. Remove from heat and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Toast the burger buns.
  9. Assemble the Fillet O'tofu by placing lettuce, tomato, pickles, and tofu fillet on the bun.
  10. Serve and enjoy!
