Ingredients
  • 2 cup Chickpeas
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 3 clove Garlic
  • 1 cup Fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
  • 2 ripe Avocado
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon Tahini
  • 2 tablespoon Water
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 piece Pita bread
  • 4 leaf Lettuce
  • 2 medium Tomato
Instructions
  1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, baking powder, flour, salt, and black pepper. Pulse until well combined but not pureed.
  2. Form the mixture into small balls and flatten slightly to form patties.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the falafel patties until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  4. In a blender, combine avocado, lemon juice, tahini, water, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  5. Toast the pita bread and cut into halves.
  6. Spread the creamy avocado sauce on the pita bread halves. Place a falafel patty on each half.
  7. Top with lettuce and tomato. Serve and enjoy!
