In a food processor, blend chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, cumin, coriander, baking powder, flour, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Form the mixture into small patties.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the falafel patties until golden brown on both sides.

Drain on paper towels.

Warm the pita bread slices.

Spread tahini sauce on each pita bread slice.

Place lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and falafel patties in each pita bread.
