Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, combine oats, flour, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate bowl, cream together coconut oil, brown sugar, and cane sugar until smooth.

Add applesauce and vanilla extract to the wet mixture and mix well.

Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips.

Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
