Ingredients
  • 1 can Chickpeas
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/2 cup Barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoon Water
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rinse and drain the chickpeas.
  3. In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the chickpeas and toss to coat.
  4. Spread the chickpeas on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes, or until crispy.
  5. In a small saucepan, mix barbecue sauce, cornstarch, and water. Cook over medium heat until thickened.
  6. Remove the chickpeas from the oven and toss them in the barbecue sauce mixture.
  7. Return the coated chickpeas to the baking sheet and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
  8. Bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
