Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions, garlic, and ginger until golden.

Add curry powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.

Add chickpeas and coconut milk. Simmer for 20 minutes.

Stir in lemon juice and fresh cilantro.
