Granola was invented in the United States in the late 19th century as a health food. It was originally called ‘granula’ and was made with graham flour. The name was later changed to ‘granola’ to avoid legal issues with a similar product.
This is vegan and gluten free recipe. Dish can be prepared in 35 minutes. Even a beginner can handle preparing this dish. Number of ingredients: 10.

Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).

In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, almonds, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds.

In a small saucepan, heat the honey, coconut oil, cinnamon, and vanilla extract over low heat until melted and well combined.

Pour the honey mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until everything is well coated.

Spread the mixture evenly onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the granola is golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.

Once cooled, mix in the dried cranberries.

Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
