Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Cut the tofu into wing-shaped pieces.

In a bowl, combine cornstarch, soy sauce, garlic powder, ground ginger, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and sesame oil to make the marinade.

Place the tofu wings in the marinade and let them sit for 10 minutes.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.

Remove the tofu wings from the marinade and coat them with cornstarch.

Pan-fry the tofu wings until they are golden brown and crispy.

Transfer the tofu wings to a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.

While the tofu wings are baking, prepare the caramelized sauce by heating the remaining marinade in a saucepan over low heat.

Once the sauce thickens, remove it from the heat.

Remove the tofu wings from the oven and brush them with the caramelized sauce.
