Bruschetta originated in central Italy and was originally a way to use up stale bread. It has since become popular worldwide as a delicious and versatile appetizer or snack.
This is vegan, gluten free and quick meals recipe. Dish can be prepared in 15 minutes. Even a beginner can handle preparing this dish. Number of ingredients: 8.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the baguette into thick slices.

Place the slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil. Toast in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

Meanwhile, dice the tomatoes and finely chop the basil leaves. In a bowl, mix together the tomatoes, basil, minced garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper.

Remove the toasted baguette slices from the oven and let them cool slightly.

Top each slice with the tomato-basil mixture.
