Wash the kale leaves thoroughly and remove the tough stems. Chop the leaves into bite-sized pieces.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and sauté until the onion becomes translucent.

Add the red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to the skillet and stir.
