Sloppy Joes were originally made with ground beef, but this vegetarian version with black beans is just as delicious and healthier!

In a large skillet, sauté the onion, garlic, and bell pepper until softened.

Add the black beans, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.

Simmer for 10 minutes, until the flavors are well blended.

Toast the hamburger buns.
