Ingredients
  • 2 cup Basmati Rice
  • 1 cup Barberries
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 pinch Saffron
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 cup Water
Instructions
  1. Rinse the rice and soak it in water for 30 minutes.
  2. In a pot, heat olive oil and sauté the chopped onion until golden brown.
  3. Add barberries, saffron, and salt to the pot and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Drain the soaked rice and add it to the pot. Mix well.
  5. Add water, cover the pot, and cook on low heat for 20 minutes.
  6. Let the rice rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  7. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve hot.
