Barbecued Sweet Potatoes

Preheat the grill to medium heat.

Wash and scrub the sweet potatoes, then pat them dry.

Cut the sweet potatoes into 1/4-inch thick slices.

In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.

Brush both sides of the sweet potato slices with the olive oil mixture.

Place the sweet potato slices on the preheated grill and cook for about 15 minutes on each side, or until they are tender and slightly charred.

Remove the sweet potato slices from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes.
