Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into cubes.

In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas.

Add the sweet potato cubes to the bowl and mix well.

Add maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and coconut oil to the bowl and mix until all ingredients are well combined.

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.

Sprinkle the chopped pecans on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the sweet potatoes are tender and golden.
